Caserne Atmosphérique

In a (not so distant) future, the worsening of forest fires due to climate change now causes recurrent episodes of toxic smog in Montreal. In response, a new sanitary intervention brigade emerges: the Atmospheric Fire Stations.

Installed in the abandoned fire stations of the former firefighting network, these structures reinvest the existing architecture, particularly the drying towers by transforming them into air decontamination hubs. As respiratory havens, they act as environmental first aid posts: hybrid microcosms activated during
meteorological emergencies.
