The project reinterprets the historical logic of heat distribution from the old incinerator to workers’ districts, transforming it into a new cycle where the former incinerator now produces soap for the community.
The soap factory becomes the central element of this system, linking
production, care, and public space. Nearby gardens supply plant materials used for fragrances and production.
The incinerator is reactivated within this cycle, where its former function is transformed into a public bath. Residual heat from the soap-making process is redirected to heat the baths.
